Job Description: - Per Year Air Safety Engineer Bristol £30,000 - £40,000 Air Safety Engineer: The Air Safety Engineer will join a growing team of Safety experts in the Bristol office. COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Guildford, Aldershot, Basingstoke, Reading and London Air Safety Engineer Key Responsibilities: * Participate in the preparation of bids, presentations and have an understanding of commercial issues * Develop innovative solutions to customer problems, drawing on best practice from the many domains of the company and beyond * Undertake internal Project Manager responsibilities on major projects - understanding customer requirements, developing proposals (technical and commercial), planning and management of activities and assurance of the outputs * Build sustainable relationships with customers in an account management role, seeking out future business opportunities and managing these through to new work * Prepare detailed technical reports and present the findings of Safety Analysis to both internal and external customers * Work as part of team and be responsible for the quality of their own work in order to maintain the company's reputation as a provider of quality services Air Safety Engineer Qualifications and Experience: * BEng or BSc (Hons) in an Engineering/Technical Discipline or equivalent * Experience of working within Defence, Aerospace or other relevant safety related sectors * Chartered Engineer, or working towards Chartership * Knowledge of the following standards: Def Stan 00-56, 05-123, 00-970, ASEMS, CS25/CS29 and Mil Standard 882 * Experience in the application of Safety Legislation & Standards and clearly and concisely explaining the implications to customer's activities * Experience of conducting Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment of aircraft or aircraft systems * Experience of managing Safety programmes and implementing Safety Management Systems * Experience in the creation and maintenance of Safety Cases and Safety Case Reports * Knowledge of the following software tools would be desirable; Cassandra Hazard Log, Adelard Safety Case Editor (ASCE) and Isograph FaultTree+ Successful applicants will be required to be security cleared to at least SC level without restrictions prior to appointment. -There is no better time to join this fantastic company renowned for the provision of world class engineering services and solutions.
