Job Description: Client Development Manager Northwest £35000-£40000 Our Client is a new dynamic force in the UK postal market with a license to consolidate and deliver large volume, business to consumer mail such as bills, statements, direct mail, magazines and catalogues. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CLIENT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER role working from home and covering a territory of the North West. You will be responsible for Major New Business Sales of Mail, Packets & Parcel Services. 100% new business - responsible for maintaining the accounts during the initial 6 month commissionable period. Core Responsibilities " Ensure that all Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to as outlined in the employee handbook/displayed at the location. " Keep work station clean and tidy and in a safe state. " Adhere to all Security Policies and Procedures as outlined in the employee handbook/displayed at the location " Ensure that all verbal and written communication is appropriate, accurate and in line with data Protection regulations " Adhere to the company Bullying & Harassment policy. Adhere and comply with the company Substance Abuse policy. " Always use appropriate language when speaking to others - internally and externally. " Comply with Company guidelines in relation to timekeeping, attendance, work performance, appearance and display appropriate behaviour whilst on site. Key Responsibilities " Achieving new business sales of Parcel and Mail products to large blue chip accounts measured against monthly and annual targets " Initiating enquiries and having detailed involvement in very large and complex tender processes. Accurate completion of large and complicated tenders for new business within set timescales. Participate in e-auctions as required. " Prospecting and development of new business for the organisation within new 'Blue Chip' prospects. Ensure full record of companies, activities, leads and prospects are duly recorded, updated and completed on the company bespoke CRM Package "Prosper". " Introducing and promoting the Company's full range of products to prospects to maximise revenue opportunities. Negotiate with key decision makers and influencers to conclusion. " Working to strict deadlines and selling within the existing Sales strategy to the required KPI's as set by the Company. Ensure accurate sales profiles are completed, P and L's provided and that pricing and profitability is in line with the company sales strategy. " Ensuring that a stretching Sales target is consistently achieved or exceeded " Able to demonstrate a very high standard of presentation skills, strong analytical skills and able to interact effectively with the Senior Management Team " Ensure clear and effective communication at all times, both verbally and written Person Specifications " Smart appearance with a professional attitude and strong work ethic " Able to balance a demanding workload and deal simultaneously with a number of large contracts and prioritise accordingly " Must have a proven track record in New Business Sales " Must have a high level of intellect and excellent communication skills both verbal and written " Must have excellent influencing skills to be able to negotiate at a senior level with clients for prospective new business " Must be able verbally and technically and have the aptitude to present and negotiate at a senior level " Strong analytical skills and good attention to detail are critical for this role " Must be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines " Excellent people skills to be able to develop and build relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels " A flexible approach and the ability to work on own initiative is essential " A good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint Packages " Flexible and able to change focus as the Company dictates " Industry experience is essential Benefits: £35k - £40k basic salary OTE £45k - £50k Company Car Pension Healthcare 21 days holiday To apply please use the 'apply' link within this advert.
