Job Description: To manage, under the Business Services Manager’s direction, all facilities management hard and soft service to occupants and visitors ensuring 100% compliance with standards set
• To closely manage and monitor external suppliers and service providers on a day-to-day basis and to interface with internal customers to maintain a superior level of trouble-free service
• Responsible for catering, asset management (M&E, HVAC), and associated audits, training and all other Business Services disciplines related to FM services
• To own all service related departmental administration inputs and outputs
• Maintain SLA’s, monitor and report upon all service and budget performance
• Contribute to the delivery of major projects, leading mini-projects when applicable
• Support the continued application of all Health & Safety process and to ensure that facilities management activities are undertaken in a safe manner
• Develop and document operating process and procedures in line with a quality approach
• Working with the FM ensure all Crisis Management planning related to services are always up to date and tested
• To control assigned areas of the facilities budget ensuring spend vs. budget is always on track or below target. Analysis of spend always up to date, accurate and available for review
• Needs to have a well-developed understanding of facilities and contractor management, reporting and quality management best practice
Education:
• Degree, HNC or HND in appropriate subject or NVQ/SVQ to Level 3 or equivalent educational and/or proven, demonstrable business experience
• IOSH or NEBOSH or similar H&S qualification
