Job Description: 19126-23708 GBP Per Year An excellent permanent opportunity has arisen in Merseyside for an experienced Supported Housing professional to work as a Resettlement Worker. As Supported Housing Resettlement Worker you will participate in the selection and needs assessment of prospective participants, and provide comprehensive, individually tailored resettlement and support programmes that enable homeless people and those at risk of becoming so, to acquire and sustain accommodation appropriate to their needs.The successful applicant will have demonstrable experience working in a homelessness, housing or support setting, delivering effective services to vulnerable people. Further experience will include:- Experience of developing and discharging individualised resettlement/ support plans.- Experience of welfare rights or other types of advocacy relating to homelessness and inadequately housed people.- Knowledge of the Supporting People programme and other contractual requirements.- Ability to undertake service user need assessments.Applicants need not drive.
