Job Description: br>Our client is immediately looking to recruit a Project Administrator who will initially manage setting up interviews and organising flights for the exchange and placement of teachers, liaise with LWL (Lesotho Wales Link) for accommodation, ensure schools are properly invoiced, circulate minutes, prepare papers for the forthcoming meetings.
The position will be based on a temporary to permanent placement and the evolving role with require candidates to have experience and work to the following specification:-
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To stabilise the organisation during a period of organisational uncertainty.
To ensure the effective management of the Teacher Placement Programme and the Teacher Reciprocal Visits between Wales and Lesotho.
To proactively seek ways to offer project support to education, health, churches and voluntary sector links.
Main Duties
1. Manage effectively the day to day operational work of the organisation
- ensure sound financial systems are in place and compliance
with financial regulations.
- maintain effective administrative procedures.
- communicate regularly with stakeholders and members.
- regularly update the company web site.
2. Effectively administer the Teacher Placement Programme 2010/2011
and the Teacher Reciprocal Visits.
3. Support the work of the Health Committee, Church interests and the
Voluntary sector.
4. Provide administrative support to the Chair and Trustees in order that
they are able to discharge their responsibilities effectively and legally.
5. Provide a calendar of events and schedule of meetings of the Standing
Committees ensuring timely issue of notice of meetings, minutes, agendas and reports
6. Ensure the company's resources including premises, ICT systems etc.
are utilised and managed effectively and in compliance with any
internal & external regulations.
7. To maintain a professional working relationship with the Director and
Trustees of the Lesotho Wales Link.
8. Support the board to provide regular updates to key funders and
stakeholders
