Job Description: Job description- DEMI CHEF DE PARTIE - 5 STAR HOTEL- CENTRAL LONDON-£17,000 Job description - Demi Chef As Demi Chef De Partie you will be producing food to high standards using only the freshest of ingredients.The ideal Demi Chef de Partie will have a background of either rosette experience or4,5 star hotel experience. As Demi Chef de Partie you will be expected to complete daily prep lists under supervision of a chef de partie and to help train Commis chefs.Your duties as Demi Chef de Partie will include the running of your own section, ordering and delegating to the Commis chefs and Demi Chefs in your section.Demi Chef de Partie you should have strong experience in a similar environment. You will need to be passionate, creative, a keen eye for detail, food quality and standards as the Demi Chef de Partie. This a fantastic opportunity for a Commis Chef who is looking for a more challenging and rewarding position. Or for an existing Demi Chef De Partie's who is looking to step into a more challenging role. Client Profile - Demi Chef Our client is a 5 star Hotel with a Rosette restaurant to their name based in Central London. They are seekinga a Commis Chef to complete the brigade. They use seasonal ingredients to provide mouth watering dishes that will leave you coming back again and again. this is an amazing opportunity for a Commis chef to really progress in their career and someone who is up for a challenge. Required Experience -Must be able to start immediately -1 to 2 years in a similar position - Have fine dining experience - Ability to cope under pressure - Able to work in high volume environment - Good communication skills - Foody person - good knowledge of food hygiene procedures Salary & Benefits upto £17,000 depending on experience + benefits Eligibility In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must either be eligible to live and work in the UK or must obtain permits to work in the UK prior to application.
