We have an opening for a Consultant to join our small and friendly team! Based in lovely offices on The Promenade, Cheltenham, you will be joining an established team with a track record of success. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong account management background and proven sales skills. You will be given the opportunity to develop your own ‘business’. Ongoing support and training will be provided by the company to encourage your development and there is also excellent career progression. This is a busy role and you will need drive and enthusiasm to succeed.
Specific tasks will include:
• Running an established desk of temps
• Achieving activity targets to maximise new business opportunities whilst building strong, lasting relationships with clients
• Carrying out sales activity including: generating leads, researching prospects, co-ordinating mailshots and e-shots and making cold calls
• Attending meetings with both existing and new clients to manage relationships
• Writing advertisements, selecting and interviewing suitable candidates and matching them effectively to permanent and contract assignments
• Manage sales, pricing and costs to build the profitability of the desk
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are very important for this role. The confidence and enthusiasm to promote the company to new clients and make a consistent number of cold and warm calls each week is essential. Strong IT literacy and knowledge of MS Word and Excel is essential. A methodical and efficient approach to your work and an ability to remain calm when placed under pressure is also essential.
Salary: £18k basic plus commission. OTE £24000 (uncapped commission scheme).
