Job Description: Job description - Duty Manager Has the Duty Manager you will be reporting directly to the Operations Manager. The Duty Manager will assist in the effective management and operations of the hotel during allocated duty management shifts. Client Profile Our client is a Boutique hotel based in Wimbledon who is seeking a Strong Duty Manager or someone who is looking for the next step up, to strenghten their team. This hotel prides themselves in using only the finest quality ingredients of food all cooked to a high standard.The Hotel has many spectacular features along with a Michelin star chef in the kitchen and a Rosette level restaurant. The hotel is popular with business and leisure guests and receives very good reviews. Required Experience - to ensure that whilst on duty assistance is given to departments as and when required - to help effectively manage the smooth running of the hotel during duty management hours - to deal with and resolve any customer complaints -to help ensure the safety/security of the hotel by making sure that correct procedures are followed in the event of an emergency -to attend operational management meetings - to effectively manage all conference and events service delivery - to recruit, manage, effectively rota and train the front of house team Hours of Work - hours of work will vary depending on requirements of the business - may need to carry out some night shifts - but only under certain circumstances and very infrequently - 40 - 45, shift pattern of 5 out of 7, extra hours and flexibility of hours may be required, when staff are on holiday or absent for other reasons Salary & Benefits - £15,000 - £16,000 Gross Per Annum. Performance related remuneration of up to £1,500 Gross Per Annum. - Live in accommodation Eligibility In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must either be eligible to live and work in the UK or must obtain permits to work in the UK prior to application.
