Job Description: My client is a software house specialising in regulatory compliance software for government and public sector clients. They are approaching product releases and require a very bright and motivated graduate to join their QA / Qualtiy Assurance team. Although working in a technical team for a software house you do not need to have a computer science degree or programming experience. However, being techical is very advantageous. The current team is made up of 2 QA engineers and your responsibilites will be: * Creative testing of desktop and web applications under active development * Diagnosis, reporting and tracking of quality issues * Verifying the resolution of quality issues * Ensuring that user requirements have been met * Maintaining user documentation This is a vital role and to succeed you will need to have plenty of ingenuity, persistence and imagination. You are: * Very thorough and able to quickly understand complex requirements * Able to provide critical advice to your colleagues in a diplomatic manner * Not afraid to make recommendations to improve processes * Analytical and methodical in your approach to new problems You will have: * Excellent academic qualifications - 1st or 2:1, ideally in a numerate or scientific subject from a leading university, though we will consider candidates from a wider range of disciplines * Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills * A keen eye for quality The following skills and experience will be beneficial but not essential: * Experience with XML
