Job Description: An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Assessment and Development for a global organisation based in Edinburgh
Role profile;
to design, manage and deliver high quality assessment centres and development activities
to direct the strategic and day to day activities of members of the A & D team
to ensure the team maintains a competitive edge and to build on commercial offerings to both public and private sector clients
to coach, train and develop the team to maximise their strengths
to develop relationships with key clients
to front key account presentations, sales and project meetings
to liaise with the Bids team to produce responses for large scale tenders
to work closely with the Head of Assessment for England to ensure a high quality and consistent approach
to maintain budgetary control for the division, minimising costs where appropriate
to set policy on product development, pricing and approaches to market sectors
Person profile;
Strong project management experience on a large scale basis
Experience of delivering assessment on a large scale basis within both the private and public sector
CIPD qualified or qualified Occupational Psychologist
Good understanding of Psychometric testing
Experience of running a business including budgetary control
Excellent relationship manager
First class presentation skills
Staff management experience
