Job Description: I seek a Birmingham VB6 VB.Net Team Leader for an international based company that have continually grown the software team that is central to the business strategy. The organisation have 130 staff and all of them rely on the success of 3 main systems that spread across Vb6 and VB.net in Winform and web modes. The current Head of the department is moving upwards and he needs to move away from the technologies into a strategy role. Therefore he needs a Developer that can work on a mix of modifications and greenfield projects whilst assisting with the design/ analysis and technically mentor the small team of Developers. You will have the combination of both VB6 and VB.net alongside a Stored Procedures background in SQL Server. They are now market leaders in their field and are hoping to use IT to make it to the next step.
