Job Description: Immediate start - RESTAURANT & Bar MANAGER-WIMBLEDON- £21,000 Job description - The successful Restaurant Manager must have at least 2 years experience in a similar role and must have bar experience. You will be able to effectively manage the operation of the Bar & Grill. As Restaurant Manager you will be working alongside the Assistant Restaurant Manager to ensure that all team members are delivering excellent customer care.You will ensure that maximum revenue is achieved by reaching targets and upselling Restaurant Manager. You will also be able to liaise with the Kitchen to ensure all food provision is correct and to required standards and to assist in the marketing of the venue. The Restaurant Manager will be able to do training of all new members of staff. However during your employment you may be required to work temporarily or permanently in the same or similar capacity in any property owned by the Hotel Group. Client Profile - Restuarant Manager Our client is a Boutique hotel based in Wimbledon who is seeking a Strong Restaurant Manager to strenghten there team. This hotel prides themselves in using only the finest quality ingredients of food all cooked to a high standard.The Hotel has many spectacular features along with a Michelin star chef in the kitchen and a Rosette level restaurant. The hotel is popular with business and leisure guests and receives very good reviews. Required Experience - must have Bar Experience -must have at least 2 years experience in a similar role - to ensure that all staff are aware of Restaurant and Bar facilities and styles of service - to ensure that all food and beverages served are of the required standard - to work within the Bar and Restaurant team to ensure that all Restaurant/Bar/Room Service provision is covered between all operational hours - to work within the Bar and Restaurant team to ensure that guests dining in the Restaurant are served promptly - to work alongside the Bar and Restaurant Manager to ensure that a high level of cleanliness is maintained within the food service areas - to ensure that at all times food and drink hygiene practices are followed - to ensure that all staff are familiar with Menus - to confidently handle customer complaints - to ensure that all staff can take orders and post correctly using EPOS system Salary & Benefits £21,000 + service charge + formal training and inhouse training 40 - 45 hours per week on a varied shift pattern, working five days out of seven including weekends overtime may be required, when staff are on holiday or absent for another reason Eligibility In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must either be eligible to live and work in the UK or must obtain permits to work in the UK prior to application.
