Job Description: This is a fabulous opportunity for a bright, ambitious junior programmer / junior developer to join a leading software consultancy and be fully trained in C#, ASP.Net development and web development. Candidates must be local to Ipswich and willing to work initially on legacy software and languages whilst you learn the ropes and get up to scratch on .Net development. Our client has a superb ERP software solution and a 20 year track record of excellent growth and expansion. The product now has a heavy web element and design is done in both C#.Net and web languages - Java, ASP.Net, HTML, XML etc. You will have the opportunity to work in a superb technical environment as your skills increase. You will be bright, ambitious, a quick learner, a good team player, and willing to start at the bottom and work your way up. You need a strong interest in IT and will have some basic knowledge of programming from a course, a degree, an A level or home programming with some knowledge of standard technology such as MS Office, Excel, Access or possibly web design. Most important will be your personality, your desire to work hard and learn new technology and your ambition to become a .Net and web developer in the future.
