Job Description: We are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor with experience of Decent Homes to work for our client, based in the South London area. You will be flexible to work on sites in London & south as required. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a progressive organisation who have a strong reputation within their industry. The ideal candidate must have experience of Decent Homes & Social Housing projects. Computer literate. Excellent time management skills. A suitable and recognised qualification in Building would be an advantage. Thorough knowledge of Current Forms of Contract. The main duties will include: - Responsible for all commercial aspects of projects from appraisal and validation of subcontractor applications. Cost Valuation Reporting. Submission and negotiations of final accounts. - You will maintain established profit margins. Price all works in line with current market conditions. Ensure contracts are financially controlled, to budget and to clients requirements. Manage target costs. Prepare monthly cost reconciliation for Division Manager. Undertake site visits in preparation of all tenders and take photographs. Prepare tenders
