Job Description:  Commutable From: Warwick, Banbury, Birmingham, Leicester, Redditch. Experience: TPM, Automotive, Maintenance, Electrical, Mechanical Our client is an establish provider of automotive modules supplying to many of the World's leading vehicles manufacturers and require the services of an experienced TPM Manager with the following skills and attributes: · Implement a fully operational TPM system to reduce breakdown percentages and improve and sustain OEE across the business. · Organize and support the Maintenance Department, ancillary staff to develop a Pro-active culture to support the Facility and internal customers. · To launch and sustain a fully operational TPM system within the Coventry Plant and generate metrics using common tools such as Key Performance Indicators. · Introduce and hold the correct level of critical parts in the Maintenance Stores reflecting the needs of the business. · Implement a system to ensure accurate accountability for all Technical Stores items. · Ensure all general Maintenance Spares/consumables are kept in house to reduce the risk of Maintenance Breakdowns just for the sake of commonly used bolts, fixings, and general day to day items that the department needs to facilitate there role. · Generate all Maintenance & Engineering purchase requisitions and monitor spend daily using cost centre budgets, Adhering to the Maintenance, Engineering and Facilities purchase tracker. · Launch Maintenance work request system and monitor OPEN vs CLOSED activities throughout the plant. · Create Equipment history files across all production areas to identify future Engineering Projects. · Control budget and stores Requisition system "IFS". · Provide accurate data and reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. · Create and store evidence files for all future site audits. You will have essential skills in the following areas: · Strong Mechanical and Electrical background based on a recognized time-served apprenticeship. · Analytical approach to understanding machine characteristics. · Total understanding of computer-controlled machinery. · Strong TPM background with proven results. · Experience of high pressure manufacturing facilities. This position is days based and the ideal candidate will be a strong team player with the ability to think clearly in a fast moving manufacturing environment.
