Job Description: We are looking for a Sales Executive to join our client based in Reading in this permanent role. You will need to have a proven track record in sales development and closing and due to the nature of the products experience within the IT or security markets is advantageous. This is a new business role with a mix of telephone based sales & field sales and applicants should have software asset management experience.
The role:
You will be responsible for all aspects of the sales process including business development, lead generation and cold calling. Development of existing accounts will also be a key requirement along with attending client meetings to secure orders. Key accountabilities will include:
•Creating sales plans to deliver agreed targets
•Demonstrating solutions to customers
•Taking and passing industry accreditation's
•Self management including reaching and over achieving personal sales target.
•Selling the full product & services portfolio across a range of vertical industries
Who we’re looking for:
The successful candidate will have experience of sales within the IT or Security industry, ideally within software and services although specific product training will be given. You will need a good knowledge of software asset management. A proven track record of sales development will need to be demonstrated and you need to be capable of hitting the ground running.
