Managing a team of up to 5 software engineers in an exciting, fast paced environment, the suitable Front End Team Leader must be willing to remain a hands-on developer whilst leading a team of motivated individuals. You will be responsible for driving technical projects across the full lifecycle creating quality HTML based interfaces. Responsibilities: Define the strategy and implementation road map for successful delivery of high quality HTML based solutions Work in close collaboration with product managers, stakeholders and other software development teams as necessary Lead by example by developing the best front end (presentation layer) code using (x)HTML, CSS and JavaScript Translate visual designs into robust, scalable HTML based solutions Monitor the implementation, revising software designs where needed Drive Agile development processes within the team, identifying areas of improvement To be successful, suitable Front End Team Leaders must have demonstrable experience with (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, Version control (SVN, CVS, GIT) skills in a Team Leader capacity. You will have examples of achievement with the ability to inspire a successful team, plus excellent organisational, prioritisation and communication skills.
