Job Description: Principal Electronics Engineer A world leading organisation specialising in the design and development of micro controllers, capacitive touch solutions, advanced logic, mixed-signal, non-volatile memory and radio frequency (RF) components based near Southampton. Due to recent business wins and the development of key projects, this world leading organisation is looking to bring on a talented Principal Electronics Engineer. As the Principal Electronics Engineer you will be responsible for designing and developing algorithms and hardware for their cutting edge technologies. You will work with the biggest consumer electronics companies in the world, to produce the latest and most technically advanced products in the world! Ideally you will be degree educated in electronics / software or another relevant discipline and have had some experience in a similar Principal Electronics Engineer position or be looking to take the next step up in your career. The role will also involve meeting with customers and clients to discuss requirements therefore good customer facing ability is essential as well as full driving license! Principal Electronics Engineer Preferred Skills: *Good mix of both analogue and digital design *Firmware development preferably in embedded C *Microcontroller / Microprocessor development (8/16/32 bit) *PCB Design and layout Principal Electronics Desirable Skills *Familiarity with power supply design *Team leadership ability *CAD familiarity (Altium, DXF, SVG) *Display industry experience (LCD/OLED) *EMC RFI experience This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join a world leading organisation and with even more growth predicted for 2012 now is the time to apply!
