Job Description: We now require a Production Planner from a mechanical engineering background for my client based in Aylesbury. They have a long history and exciting new products. It serves a broad range of industries but is particularly focused upon electrical machine cooling in the oil, gas, power and process industries. After a period of substantial growth and success, including the recent acquisition of another business, they are now looking for individuals who, in the following positions, will facilitate the achievement of the companies success. As the Production Planning Engineer you will play a key role in planning small batch production operations within an ERP/MRP environment. You must be able to develop and use planning system tools to produce individual and composite production plans for our products. You must also possess a production or related engineering qualification and have a good working knowledge of manufacturing processes related to fabrication, welding, machining and assembly.
