Job Description: Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Nursery Practitioner to join this privately owned day nursery in North London. You will be responsible for the day to day smooth running of the toddler's room - care, welfare, health and safety of the children. You will naturally be delivering high quality care and education, fulfilling all legal and statutory requirements as set by OFSTED, EYFS and the local authority, and bringing a creative enthusiasm to the day to day activities. As Room Leader, you will additionally be responsible for supervising the staff and ensuring there is appropriate levels of cover, constantly reviewing the quality of care and making recommendations for improvements to the management team, implementing policies and procedures, planning appropriate activities, documenting outcomes, liaising with parents and external providers…plus a whole lot more!! This is a rare opportunity to join a leading private nursery who are rated "Outstanding" by OFSTED and who actively encourage continuous learning and development for their own staff. To be considered for this role you must be NVQ3 or NVQ4 qualified (or equivalent) and have some experience of running a room. This position is looking after either ages 1-2 or 2-3's.
