Job Description: Magento Web Developer - Fast Growing Global Internet Retailer Bermondsey, South East London (SE16) Attractive Salary Package + MacBook Pro Laptop BACKGROUND We are an established and fast-growing global Internet retailer of prestigious luxury childrenswear and toys, with an expanding domestic and international market. Launched in 2007, the company has an increasing strong presence in the online retail arena, and following investor funding, is expanding its product range and team to build on this success. The company is currently 50 people strong, working from our Bermondsey office in London, with plans to grow to 60 by Q1 2012. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE > Help implementing a better User Experience in collaboration with the CTO and Business Stakeholders, cross-channels (e.g. Mobile) and globally (e.g. Localisation challenges) > Help defining Agile / Lean processes and methodologies to ensure stability, performance and continuous improvement > Frequently deliver new features, upgrades and fixes > Coach and support other members of the team and external agencies ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SKILLS > Good industry experience > Experience in developing e-commerce solutions on Magento, with deep and clear understanding of its framework (Layout, Templates etc ) > Web Open technologies such as CSS, HTML, HTML 5, Javascript and basic PHP > Advanced Design skills (e.g. Photoshop) > Basic source code management (e.g. Git) > Problem Solving ESSENTIAL SOFT SKILLS > Highly motivated and pro-active > Thoroughness and attention to detail > Team player > Respectful > Create and share knowledge WE OFFER > The opportunity to play a key role in growing a successful company > Independent work environment in a passionate and highly experienced team > Opportunity to grow with the company > Attractive salary > MacBook Pro laptop You may have worked in the following capacities: Magento Software Engineer, Back-End Magento Developer, Magento Programmer, Graduate Magento CMS Developer Application Statement: To apply for the role of Magento Web Developer - Fast Growing Global Internet Retailer simply submit your application (CV and a covering letter).
