Job Description:  Senior Software Engineer required to join and expand our client's development team. Job purpose: Involvement and growing responsibility for all aspects of the lifecycle of a software project; Bug fixing; Providing Technical back up for the support team; Defining tests and new software development. The majority of software stacks are written and maintained in house however there is the need to integrate 3rd party hardware. Protocols supported are: VoIP; SIP and H.323. TDM Signalling: SS7, ISDN, R2 etc. Media Gateway control: MGCP and MEGACOL (H.248) Minimum requirements: JAVA and SQL. Desirable: Telecoms C, a good knowledge of IP/ SIP/ TCP/ UDP/ RTP/ RTCP, 2 +years programming experience.
