Job Description: Senior Programmer -.NET/ VB.NET/C# -Knutsford -£35-40K+bens My client a software house based in Knutsford have a new and exciting opportunity to join their well established team and forge forward with technical advances. This is a relatively small company that are market leading at what they do and have been on the market for many years due to their ability to keep with cutting edge technology and change with the times. They are now one of the most recognised and well respected brands in their field. Technically you will be an experienced .NET Developer that can hit the ground running with a proven history in developing complex systems using the entire Microsoft .Net platform. · Excellent knowledge of Visual Studio 2010 · Strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills · A team player and experienced at working in multi-discipline teams · Ability to plan, manage your own workload and meet deadlines · Ability to document and scope business requirements, functional and technical specifications Technical skills: · Object Oriented programming, VB .net, ASP .net, C# .net · .NET (web sites, web applications, web services) · ADO.NET · SQL 2000 - 2008 and MSSQL server profiler · Microsoft TSQL (thorough understanding of Stored procedures ) · JavaScript (e.g. troubleshooting Jquery) and AJAX Added Bonus: · HTML/CSS inc. accessibility, W3C compliance, cross-browser compatibility · IIS 6/7 - creating sites, application pool segmentation, privileges and SSL configuration · Experience building mobile apps This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leading company based in Knutsford, Cheshire.
