Job Description: Year 6 Teacher Are you an experienced Year 6 Teacher or outstanding NQT graded good to outstanding on their placements? If so this could be the post for you! ***Year 6 Teacher Required Immediate Start ***Long Term Contract ***£120 - £140 Depending on Experience ***Class of 20 Bright Pupils ***Outer London School! ***Excellent transport links Close to East Croydon Train station My Client school is a popular thriving 2 form entry Primary School located in the London Borough of Croydon who are currently looking to appoint an experienced Year 6 Teacher or Outstanding NQT. The reason this vacancy has arisen is due to the current Year 6 Teacher going on maternity leave. Even though this position is only until July there is a possibility that this post could become permanent for the right person. This School serves a diverse community. The majority of the pupils speak English as an additional language. The Head Teacher, staff and governors share a common aim to create a school in which all pupils can succeed. The resources and facilities are fantastic with a PPA room available for all staff. The pupils can be challenging at times but that comes with any school, however behaviour is monitored with strict polies in place. Pupils thoroughly enjoy their learning as they take an active role in lessons and are very keen to contribute. They also work extremely well independently or in small groups, and take a pride in what they produce. The Head Teacher and the two Assistant Head Teachers form an extremely effective senior leadership team, giving vision and direction to the school. Excellent monitoring systems ensure that leaders have a very clear view of the schools strengths and areas to develop, and these form the heart of strategic planning.
