Job Description: Children's Home Manager Required 37.5 hours, per week We are a private Education Group who are looking to open a secure single/double occupancy children's unit. We can confirm that candidates will need to be able to assist with initially establishing the business, including registration, recruitment and will be an ideal opportunity for an existing Manager/Deputy Manager to put their own stamp on the business. The minimum qualification required is NVQ Level 4 and experience will be needed as acting as the responsible person/registered Manager Applicants should have experience of working with children with challenging behaviour and the key duties will include - Contributing to the delivery of effective individual care plans. - Contributing to the assessment process and ensuring each young person has a comprehensive assessment programme in place. - Managing the day to day running of a home. - Knowledge of Safeguarding issues. - Experience of recruiting, managing and developing a team of staff
