Job Description: Are you passionate about Maths? Do you hold Maths QTS? Are you able to inspire young adults to achieve their potential? If so, then this could be the job for you! My Client, a local Secondary School are seeking a qualified teacher who has the following knowledge and experience; A teaching qualification together with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Subject knowledge sufficient to challenge all students and achieve high outcomes at all levels, including sixth form level Awareness of the strategies available for improving the learning and achievement of all students A good understanding of curriculum developments in the specific subject area For experienced candidates, a demonstrable record of good examination outcomes This is initially a temporary post for the summer term with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate starting in September 2012.
