Job Description: Unique opportunity for an experienced Software System Architect to join a thriving business in the wireless telecommunications space. With a background in real-time embedded C software development and wireless telecommunications you will be responsible for defining the product/platform software architecture. This will include maximising re-use, purchase of COTS product components and outsourcing. With proven technical leadership ability the Software System Architect will collaborate with the Product Strategy Group, Requirements Engineers and Hardware System Architects to create solutions for the business. You will also direct, review and agree lower level software designs and manage the development of key components / interfaces through roadmaps and direction to developers. Essential Skills: Proven technical leadership, influencing and reporting skills. Wireless telecoms experience Extensive knowledge in the development and delivery of real time systems using C Thorough understanding of the complete software development process, including software estimation.
