RESTAURANT GENERAL MANAGER HIGH PROFILE CHEF LONDON £42K + BONUS

Restaurant General Manager required to lead the front of house team in this renowned London restaurant, with one of the UKs premier Chefs.

You must be a "hands on" operator to manage this business, yet be fully accountable for the P&L.

Be floor-focused, manage and drive the team, interact with guests, yet be totally in control of the costs.

Constantly deliver a great customer experience through your team by leading and inspiring from the front.

Train, motivate and drive your management and team to deliver service of the highest standard with attention to the smallest detail while being engaging and warm toward the guest.

Be passionate about food and wine and able to enthuse and excite the team about the amazing products they serve.

Create a positive and cohesive working environment, were individual input and initiative are encouraged.

Work closely with the directors to achieve and exceed budget targets.

A GM who will lead by example and take ownership of the business and not try to "manage from the office."

Must have a good understanding and knowledge of a Michelin restaurant from the training to setting the correct standards, the restaurant is making a serious challenge on obtaining two stars, knowing the Michelin set up and inspector hierarchy is critical.

A GM who will create a friendly and fun working environment - which Awill maximise on the enjoyment of the guests.

Excellent understanding of payroll management, cost control and their impact on a P&L.

Strong communication and inter-personal skills.

A natural leader - You must have the ability to encourage and inspire a team and individuals.

You must be a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and an ambitious character, with a strong commercial background.

Be passionate about delivering slick service in a friendly and professional manner.

Possess excellent organisational skills and the ability to balance both front and back of house operations and plan ahead.

An eye for detail and high standards of hygiene and housekeeping.

A natural passion and flair for the food and drink industry - someone who uses their own knowledge to help enhance the restaurant experience.

A charismatic, approachable and friendly personality
