Nursery Nurse (Acton) Job Details

We are currently recruiting for a Nursery Practitioner to our friendly day nursery in Acton.

This position involves working with the babies and under 2s on a full time basis. Duties will include planning daily activities, supervising the children, setting up and tidying away rooms and contact with parents and guardians.

The ideal candidates will possess the following skills and experience:

• Reporting to the Nursery Manager; the successful candidates will have the ability to work well in a team and on an individual basis.
• We are looking for enthusiastic team players and people who are able to demonstrate a willingness and ability to accept responsibility.
• Previous experience of working with children is essential.
• Qualified Nursery Practitioners should have an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, or equivalent and have good knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum as well as an understanding of child development.
• An Enhanced CRB disclosure is advantageous.
