Job Description: Job Title: Compliance Engineer - Electronics / Medical Device Location: West Sussex Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits Are you a Compliance Engineer looking for a new challenge? Due to continued success a leading technology company based in West Sussex is looking for a Compliance Engineer to assure product compliance across multiple global markets. The responsibilities of the Compliance Engineer are as follows: *Ensure product ranges comply with worldwide product safety standards including IEC, Canadian, Japanese & EU standards *Maintaining a source of knowledge on worldwide product related standards applicable to the business *Support the business by providing expertise on applicable standards *Leading the regulatory compliance planning process to ensure compliance representation at the earliest stages of projects. *Interfacing with 3rd party certification bodies *To assure third party manufacturers compliance competencies. To fulfil these requirements you must have the following skills/experience: *Strong compliance background working with high tech electromechanicl products *Experience of supplying to a global market *Thorough understanding of current IEC, UL, JIS & EU directives *Ability to interpret, adapt & provide guidance on product standards. *Experience of working within the medical device market is beneficial as is an understanding of IEC60601 *Ability to communicate with and present to people across all levels of the business.
