Job Description: Key Account Manager - PCB Electronics. A highly reputable and well established subcontract manufacturer of high technology electronics is expanding as a result of an unprecedented level of UK and export orders, combined with a growth in their prime clients placing repeat orders. This expansion has lead to the creation of a customer facing Key Account Manager to look after their prime client orders. Summary You will be responsible for managing the customer interface and co-ordinating all resources to fulfil a customer's requirement. You will will be responsible for managing several customer accounts simultaneously and will be required to master the detail in complex manufacturing projects. Duties + Acting as the main customer contact and representative to get the job done on time and to cost. + Taking responsibility for responding to all new quotation requests for the accounts from receipt of RFQ through to placement of orders + Negotiating the commercial terms and conditions of contract within limits of delegated authority + Acknowledging and processing orders and loading jobs into the production planning system + Coordinating other departments to manage jobs from receipt of order through to despatch to meet customer requirements + Being fully conversant with systems and processes including Manufacturing, Material & Labour Costing, Job Loading, MRP and QA. Education and Qualifications + HNC, HND, BSc, BEng degree in Electronics or Business studies related subject Experience Required - Significant experience and track record in Project, Production or Technical Management and planning within an Electronics manufacturing environment + Computer Literate on MRP, ERP, CRM and MS Office inc Excel + Good written and verbal communication skills within a technical and commercial environment
