Job Description: Head Practitioner of the Pre-School **Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification **Perm position to start immediately **Competitive salary £20-22K **Location â Barnet Do you have excellent Pre-School experience? Do you have experience of running a Pre-School room? I have a great opportunity for a dynamic, energetic, focused and experienced Nursery Nurse to work in a successful large day nursery. The Pre-School room can hold between 30 and 40 children and is split into 2 rooms. You will oversee the development and progression of the room and will manage up to 6 staff. The owner is looking for someone who stands out from the rest, you must have the hunger and desire to succeed, with outstanding organisational, motivational and leadership skills. You will be working closely with the Nursery Manager and will be part of the management team, bringing a wealth of knowledge and skills that will see the nursery move even further forward. Excellent communication skills are vital. Working within your team you will oversee the EYFS and will ensure staff are supported and up to date with knowledge and legislation. Training will need to be identified and supported by you and communicated with the Manager. Parents are encouraged into the nursery and to be part of their childrenâs early education, it will be your role to promote this and build on positive relationship the nursery has with the families.
