Job Description: Title: Purchase Ledger Assistant Salary: £23,000 - £24,000 Our client based on the outskirts of Reading are looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their Finance Team. Your responsibilities will include: * Process invoices as required - registering/verifying/expensing & scanning * Ensure invoices have the necessary authorisation for payment * Raise manual payments when necessary * Distribute external and internal post as appropriate * Process petty cash & employee expense claims * Match invoices to purchase orders * Assist with reconciling supplier statements for payment run * Deal with customer queries both internally and externally * Manage filing systems To be suitable for this position you will have a financial background with previous experience in Purchase Ledger and an intermediate knowledge of Excel. You will have also have knowledge of using ADP. Ideally you will be available immediately.
