Job Description: English Graduate TA Role Are you a recent Graduate looking to gain experience in a school to support and boost your application for a PGCE or GTP or are you looking to gain as much school experience as possible having been accepted on a PGCE?GTP for 2012? Do you have a can do attitude and the desire and passion to support 11-16 year olds in the development of their skill and ability levels? Was your degree English based and do you have a strong academic record including English A-levels? This is the job for you. ***Ideal placement for prospective PGCE/GTP students ***1 Year Contract ***Earn up to £60/day ***Excellent Support from Management and Class Teachers ***Dudley This prestigious school located in Dudley are looking for an English Graduate to support Class Teachers in their English Department. The role will be focussing on supporting students as they prepare for GCSEs and ensuring that they attain minimum standards in end of year exams. The role will involve working on a 1-2-1 basis and with small groups who require extra support to attain accepted levels. The role is full time, 5 days a week and is due to start as soon as possible, continuing through to the end of the school year July 2012. The schools last Ofsted report graded them as Outstanding and highlighted the overall effectiveness of the school. Exam results are excellent, with the school coming in the top 20 in the LEA and they regularly record some of the Highest Value Added scores of any school in the LEA. The Head Teacher has a clear vision and ambition for the school to keep developing and establishing itself as a centre of excellence. The school plays an important role in community cohesion at all levels, and possesses a multi-cultural diversity throughout.
