Job Description: CONFIDENTIAL Job Specification Quality Manager Job ref: JE/19547 Salary: Circa £50,000 Location: South East Our client is a medical device manufacturer who are looking for a Quality Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and deployment of an effective Quality Management System. To interface all 3rd parties on regulatory, accreditation and auditing requirements. Support all technical functions in the achievement of highest standards of product and service quality. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and direct the implementation of new standards into practice Perform internal and external audits as necessary Communicate with internal functions and external clients Communicate with external regulatory bodies Train employees on company policies, systems, tools and techniques Investigate system failures/non conformities Instil culture of continuous improvement Support development of external suppliers Develop and deploy a quality management system in line with ISO13485 Develop and maintain the Quality culture of the company Experience/Skills Experience working within regulated environment (ISO 13485, FDA, MHRA etc) Quality systems and methodologies Knowledgeable in regulatory affairs Experience in management of start-up businesses would be an advantage. Experience of the manufacturing within Pharma or Medical Device environment Strong people management experience or potential. Experience of new product development and medical device manufacturing Supply chain management experience. Lead Auditor training Qualifications required Degree qualification in an engineering, technical or scientific subject preferred. Significant industrial experience may be considered as equivalent. Interface with other departments/communication internal & external Lead and coordinate all internal functions in connection to quality objectives Audit and development of supplier quality systems and performance Actively support customers and help build positive customer relationships.
