Job Description: Our client is a well established storage and distribution company, operating on a global basis. They are currently looking to appoint a Supply Chain Manager to carry out the following: Developing annual plans & budgets affecting and related to purchasing, procurement, transportation, storage, and Import/Export; Control and administration of allocated accounts (placing orders, forecasting usages, monitoring progress of orders, liaison with warehouse, preparation of documentation e.g. Bill of Lading, stock control, preparation of invoices and credit notes, self billing, arranging payment requests etc; Stock Management; Implementing production planning activities, effective negotiation of key projects and timely delivery of customer requirements; Managing a team to include training, recruiting,coaching, etc; Export Administration; Support new business / new supply-chain development Ideally, candidates should have the following attributes: Must possess first class logistics and supply chain knowledge coupled with considerable experience within the FMCG industry; Ability to react swiftly and effectively to customer requirements in a Just-In-Time environment; Degree holder People management skills; Excellent communication skills including first class customer service ability.
