Job Description: My client is one of the largest meat producers in the UK. It manufactures sausages, cooked meats and sliced products from its factory based in Leicestershire. They are currently looking to recruit a Lead Multi Skilled Engineer to join their team. You will be required to ensure that PPMs are carried out to maintain and improve the equipment performance and maximise product output whilst maintaining product safety. On a day to day basis your duties will include: Maintaining and adjusting the equipment to ensure optimum output Strip machines and make tolling head changes Carry out basis and planned maintenance Fault find and repair machines Recommend machine modifications Maintain and improve hygiene standards Manage another member of staff Ensure that shift handover is completed Ideal candidates must have previous experience within a manufacturing environment and preferably a background within meat. You must also have PLC experience and be multi skilled with an electrical bias
