Job Description: Freight Forwarding / Shipping Manager £Neg Dartford SA/FFM Expanding Operation in the Dartford area is looking for an experienced Freight Forwarding / Shipping Manager with knowledge particularly in Imports and Bonded Warehousing. This Company Import and Export Internationally. This is a new role within the Company, so you will be setting up an 'in house' Freighr Forwarding Agency. To start with you will obviously be managing things yourself, so a 'hands on' Manager is a must, but as you get to grips with the operation you will recruit as necessary. Specific Knowledge required: * Comprehensive background in Shipping / Freight Forwarding. * Customs entries * Imports of goods on CHIEF the HMC&E computer system, dealing with bills of lading etc., * Freight clearing from Ports such as Thamesport / Tilbury. * Preparation of C88 entries when releasing goods from Bonded Stores. * Preparation of Export documentation.
