Job Description: My leading client is seeking an experienced .Net Master Developer based in either Gloucester or Stockton. This is a permanent position and paying between £38,000 - £58,000 per annum. As part of the Application Delivery capability within Solutions Design & Delivery the Master Developer will be responsible for providing specific software development expertise to the delivery of bespoke applications. With significant skill and experience in one or more core software technologies, the Master Developer will bring technical expertise and achievement focus to the delivery team on a day to day basis. An experienced software developer within their technical field, they will adopt and support a team based approach to software development, providing strong technical direction and support to the development team, playing a leading role in implementation Responsibilities:- Adhere to development processes and procedures.- Adhere to internal and industry standards and best practice in software development- Provides technical skill in the implementation of system designs and assists Developers and Graduate Developers in improving capability and adoption of best practice.- Acting as role model to Graduate Developers and Developers, responsible for contributing software development expertise in a high performing team environment. Sharing technical skill and knowledge with Developers and Graduate Developers to promote continual improvement of the skill base within the development team.- Responsible for the production and accurate implementation of software designs and liaison with Technical Designers and Solution Architects to ensure design issues are resolved and designs are kept up to date during implementation. Inspection of designs produced by other team members.- Suggests constructive solutions, and complies with standard policies and procedures. Mentors Graduate Developers and Developers. Suggests improvements to development processes and procedures.- Implements development processes, supporting continual improvement within the context of enterprise delivery requirements.- Have the responsibility for ensuring timely provision of deliverables in complex environments. Essential Skills:- Core technical skill : Microsoft .NET - Detailed knowledge of the implementation of specific core software technologies relevant to the delivery of bespoke software solutions within the context of enterprise architecture. Knowledge and Experience:- Experience of elaborating UML high level designs with the detail required to drive the implementation.- Strong background in software and architectural design patterns.- Estimation of software implementation tasks.- Mentoring of Developers and Graduate Developers, particularly in technical specialism If you have the required skills/experience then please apply now.
