Job Description: Exciting opportunities exist for highly competent Cryogenic / Cryocooler / Cryostate professionals to work for this global world leader in the design and development of scientific instrumentation. The Company: This is a world-renowned scientific instrumentation developer, based in prestigious offices in Oxfordshire. Committed to the development and manufacture of information-driven solutions for novel applications in nano sciences, research and industrial process control, this is a company that is big enough to offer opportunities yet small enough to make an impact The Role: As a Cryogenic / Cryocooler / Cryostate professional there are a number of opportunities available so if you have an interest in being part of new product development or structural analysis within cryogenics or magnet technology this is the place to go. The Candidate: A relevant science or engineering based Degree, Masters or PhD; Skills in any of: Design and analysis of large scale magnet cold masses and systems; Structural analysis of CICC magnet coils, Superconducting magnet design and/or integration, GM or Stirling cooler development and FEA; 4k systems and cryogenic techniques; Dilution refrigerators and high frequency RF design; Design for manufacture techniques and processes and cryofree systems development; Cryostate, low temperature insert design and ideally UHV design; Practical experience in modelling and analysing complex cryogenic system engineering e.g. ANSYS, VF, COMSOL or similar; Cryogenic systems design or development to include some of the following: the use and principles of operation of cryocoolers, 4He variable temperature inserts, 3He inserts, 3He/4He dilution refrigerators; CAD design; in 2D and 3D including FE Structural Analysis, preferably experienced in ProE; Post graduate research positions in structural analysis and assessment; For full company details please email your CV now.
