The Regional Warehouse Supervisor Role: A division of the company, Univar Specialty Consumables (USC), requires a Regional Warehouse Supervisor to take responsibility for running our warehousing operations in Northern Ireland. With our main warehouse situated in Bangor, we supply a wide range of tapes, adhesives, abrasives, wipes and PPE to the Northern Irish manufacturing base, within which we cover most manufacturing and industry sectors. We also supply a large number of re-sellers, industry specific wholesalers and sub-distribution partners. In addition, we also run the In-Store warehousing function at BE Aerospace in Kilkeel. Reporting to the Site Manager, the successful Regional Warehouse Supervisor will be tasked with the day-to-day running and management of a team Operatives across the two sites with the expectation being that this role would require the successful applicant to be in Bangor for two days and Kilkeel for the other three days with the use of our company vehicle. Regional Warehouse Supervisor Required Skills: The successful candidate will possess the following traits: The role will encompass the usual duties associated with running and managing a busy warehouse including: > Previous management experience > Strong leadership skills (ability to drive performance and behaviours - lead from the front) > Such as stock control > Despatching goods > Driving (FLT licence is desirable). It will also be customer facing at the Kilkeel site as the person appointed to this role will be the first point of contact for USC and our customer. Some product sourcing at a local level may be required and the person will be expected to work closely with our Purchasing Controller. Experience of IT ERP platforms Outlook, Excel and Word would be preferred.
