Job Description: Our client, one of Derby's most prestigious employers, is seeking Fluid System Designers to complement their team. In this position, you play a key role in the development and integration of the nuclear reactor plant. This role requires a broad range of skills including requirements capture, concept development, solution realisation, definition of operating procedures, component specification, risk managemetn and systems integration. Fluid flow analysis and heat transfer analysis is pimarily focused on pipework systems to determine system losses, pressure drops, pump design, etc. Design and development of test rigs is also undertaken in this role as part of the verification and validation process. Our client is seeking someone qualified to degree level or equivalent in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. You will have an excellent understanding of thermo-fluids deisgn or analysis and will have goo analytical, communication and coordination skills.
