Job Description: Project Engineer / Manager (manufacturing / production /machining / aerospace / automotive) £32,000 - £35,000 + Contributory Pension + Life Assurance + 25 Days Holiday Plus Bank Holidays Bournemouth / Poole / Dorset Project Engineer required for a market leading international manufacturing company. This is a great opportunity to join a profitable business focused on improving performance. You will have responsibility to manage manufacturing and assembly projects from order to delivery. You will plan, execute and deliver manufacturing projects according to deadlines and within company margins. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate project engineering skills within a mechanical manufacturing environment and able to lead a team of people towards a common goal. You will work closely with senior management in resolving problems and suggest areas of improvement. Part of a global group with substantial new investment, the company are continuing to increase their portfolio with a range of commercially successful products for a variety of markets both in the UK and abroad. This is the largest manufacturing site in the UK and the position is set to grow. Additional investment is planned along with added headcount. This role will suit candidates who are driven with a determined attitude to see things through. This is a great opportunity to be part of a profitable business that are driven to make changes for improvement in results. The role: * To effectively project manage all manufacturing and assembly on specific projects, providing regular reports to the senior management team covering spend achievement, forecasted out turn. * Both Internal and external issues affecting the programme, suggesting and implementing remedial actions to resolve concerns. * To provide Customer feedback at the appropriate level as required. * Be responsible to the New Business Manager for the commercial performance of the programmes. * Act as focal point for all Customer issues, ensuring satisfactory and timely resolution to both the Companies and Customers satisfaction. * Manage the implementation of all new tasks and modifications, as well as the embodiment by Magellan personnel on the Customer premises when required. * Any other reasonable duties as requested by Management. * 38 hour week, Monday to Friday with 12pm finish on Friday's. The person required: * Manufacturing Engineering background. * Project engineering background. * Engineering qualification. * Aerospace industry knowledge
