Job Description: Vane Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Service and Hire Engineer, based in Portsmouth. Salary: 15k - 17k The job will include overseeing all company machinery for hire, sales and service, including customer support as required. Skills required: 1. Experience gained in handling small machinery and plant 2. Ability to operate safely counterbalance and 'Flexi' forklifts, plus other materials handling equipment. 3. Demonstrate professional and courteous behaviour at all times. 4. Clear understanding of the Company's policies, particularly regarding acceptable standards of behaviour and demeanour 5. Demonstrate a reasonable standard of education, particularly a command of basic arithmetic and the ability to complete paperwork correctly. 6. Is able to operate company IT or be apt to be trained as required. Primary Responsibilities: Servicing all machinery as required as part of external sales offer to customers, managing the collection, parts, reporting and return of machinery. Also to manage the Blue Hire system operationally including preparation, transport, paperwork, collection and servicing of all machinery.
