Responsibilities:*Assist manager to design and deliver robust, scalable, cost effective infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements*Assist with Infrastructure replacement strategy including planning and costing *Help Identify and schedule projects to take advantage of technical opportunities and solve business issues*Provide assistance with implementation of new infrastructure, application or services.*Ensure connectivity, data integrity and data validation for hardware upgrades/replacements are managed effectively*Configuration management - ensure that new infrastructure solutions are configured to optimum levels and this is recorded according to team CM standards*Participate in/host post implementation/major incident reviews*Assist with infrastructure related issues and requests*Assist the manager with internal and external relationships for infrastructure, DB and OS planning*Ensure that effective system performance/capacity monitoring is in place for all critical business applications*Assist in disaster recovery planning and testing*Participate in/host post implementation/major incident reviewsEssential Skills:*ITIL Service Delivery Experience*Database sizing and capacity planning*Upgrades, patch release control and migration*Disaster Recovery solutions *Demonstrable experience of change management ability, timescale awareness, *Good project coordination experience
