Job Description: CONFIDENTIAL Job Specification Programme Manager Job ref: AZ/20012 Salary: £40,000-£50,000 Location: Northamptonshire / Bedfordshire Our client is tier 1 automotive supplier who are recruiting a Programme Manager to manage the designated program in order to exceed both Customer and the company's expectations and business plans. Planning, managing and controlling all PDP activities, ensuring all deliverables are completed. Leading the program team through effective communication and coordination Ensuring effective communication and reporting to the suppliers, Customer and relevant JIT plants and Group Office Managing the program team effectively in order to meet all customer and internal timing milestones Providing and interface to all internal departments on program specific requirements Assuring adequate program planning to meet customer and internal needs Conducting regular program reviews and phase and gate reviews in line with PDP Facilitating high level interaction with the Customer and suppliers and internally where required Undertaking any other given responsibilities as a result of operational necessity. Authority to: Initiate action and to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to the product, process and system Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and quality system Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels Raise a red flag Provide timing information to a customer Person Profile: Engineering / Technical degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (desirable) otherwise relevant skills gained through experience in a like role Excellent interpersonal skills including both written and verbal communication. Excellent project management skills. Business decision making and problem solving skills. Strong presentation, organisational and influencing skills. PC literate - Microsoft Office (including project), Lotus notes Essential Traits Committed team player, working in line with the needs of the business. Proactive approach, solutions driven. Performance and goal oriented A flexible approach to working hours to meet the demands of the business. Organised and able to prioritise workload to meet conflicting demands. Ability to meet deadlines whilst managing ongoing workload. A self-starter, comfortable working independently and as part of cross-functional team.
