Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Reconciling events
- Processing voluntary European equity and bond corporate actions
- Supporting and liaising with internal trading desks, Prime broker clients, Stock loan counterparties and external brokers
- Assisting the stock lending desk on arbitrage opportunities
- Executing client instructions to local custodian banks
- Monitoring and resolving breaks between the firm and their agent banks
- Answering and resolving client queries
Skills and Experience
- Degree educated
- Proven understanding of a broker dealer environment and key associated market risks
- Experience of Crest and UK market is preferred
- Superior organisation skills with regards to daily and project work
- Strong team player with good communication skills
- Ability to work in a high risk environment to challenging deadlines and targets
- Proven track record of using initiative and implementing process improvements
This is a 9 month temporary assignment and candidates must be either immediately available or on 1 week's notice period or less.
