Job Description: Graduate Engineer (Mechanical) Axminster, Chard, Honiton - Contracts Engineer Days Based position Monday to Friday £18,000 to £20,000 + Contributory pension + Life Assurance + 23 Days Holiday + Health Package Graduate Engineer position available in the Contracts team of this stable and impressive international manufacturer. In this high profile position you will manage contracts through their full lifecycle to final delivery to the customer. The position will suit recent mechanical engineering graduates (or similar degree) who wish to develop both their engineer and commercial skill sets. Internationally recognised for their phenomenal product range, this company is expanding in 2012 due to winning further business in the petrochemical market. The Role: * Receive and action customers contract instructions. * Carry out contract reviews and interpret customer's orders to allow configuration and entry into production system and issuing of order acknowledgements. * Review customers commercial terms and ensure compliance with company accepted terms and conditions. * Order contract specific components and accessories as required and expedite deliveries. * Manage customer relationship from order receipt through to delivery, ensuring all customer documentation is provided in a timely manner and co-ordinate inspection and progress meetings with customers and their inspection representatives as required. * Provide Technical & Commercial support to Sales Personnel during the bid process. * Liaise with accounts department staff and with management to ensure efficient credit control. The Candidate: * Recent Mechanical Engineering Graduate (or similar degree). * Work experience is not necessary. * Full and valid UK Driving License and happy to travel very occasionally
