Job Description: Senior Fund Accountant ? Investment Bank, London Our client, a Global Banking Corporation has earned its reputation as a leader by successfully meeting the changing needs of their customers for more than 200 years. Today, they rank among the top financial service providers in all of the markets they serve. Currently are seeking a Senior Fund Accountant (s). The Role: Applies generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) to prepare income and balance sheet statements and various other accounting statements and reports. Prepares journal entries, performs reconciliations, and performs account analysis. Audits various records to verify accuracy. Additional Job Details: The new starter will be joining the Investment Trust group. On a daily basis, the successful candidates will be expected to perform the following duties: Investment Trust accounting experience/Fund accounting operations, NAV preparation/assistance, project work reporting up to people within the group. Working with the client operations team to ensure a timely and accurate transition of the project we are hiring people to work on. Qualifications: Qualified Accountants preferred but we will also consider experienced, part-qualified people for this project too. Required Experience: Experience of NAV, reports and accounts production within the Investment Trust industry oeic / hedge fund arena.
