Job Description: The UK Sales Representative position is a quota-carrying role with direct responsibility for generating and closing new sales opportunities. The UK Sales Representative will also be responsible for planning and executing a strategy which leverages EMEA partners to penetrate new target accounts and grow the market. The position reports to the EMEA Regional Manager located in London, UK. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Prospecting new leads. Lead generation/outbound calling, and lead qualification. Understand and assess customer needs and requirements. Support geographically distributed sales team. Qualify Business Opportunities thoroughly. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits of DigitalPersona. Sell and differentiate in a competitive environment. Provide on-line demonstrations. Close sales and achieve quarterly sales quotas. REQUIREMENTS: 1-3 years sales or related experience. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills. Knowledge of CRM (OnDemand preferable). Proven ability to produce in a high activity, high transaction environment. Ability to work independently with little supervision. Ability to also work as part of a team. Enthusiastic, highly motivated individual with a serious work ethic. Proactive; able to work independently; tenacious; goal-oriented. Proven track record in inside sales/field sales. Ability to meet and exceed individual sales targets on a consistent basis. Strong computer skills. Second language in German preferable. EDUCATION: BA/BS-degree preferred. WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT: Home must have suitable environment for conducting business from home. Some travel required.
